Artist Statement
Lindsay's process is centred around reconnection with real things in a time when so much feels simulated. The process of replicating shapes and textures from real candies and ice cream cones is messy and fraught with mistakes; the work intentionally resists being perfect in the way that digital or AI imagery often is.

Artist Bio
Lindsay Cohen is an emerging artist living and working in North Vancouver. Her current work is influenced by the decadent imagery of food intentionally juxtaposed in the seemingly simplicity of plaster-like compound.
